Building Bridges to a Better Tomorrow
At Bajaj Foundation, we turn ideas into impact, values into vision, and passion into progress. Our collaborative and focused approach sets the stage for meaningful transformation, and we invite you to be a part of this extraordinary journey .
Bajaj Foundation Timeline: A Journey of Compassion and Sustainability
Bajaj Foundation was born with the belief that humanity and nature are deeply interconnected. Founded by Pankaj Bajaj, the Foundation embraced the vision: “Ek Sansaar, Ek Parivar.” Initial focus: relief work, animal care, and community support in Delhi-NCR.
Grassroots work flourished
- from medical aid to food and education support.
- Youth volunteered in local drives, spreading awareness with compassion.
- The spirit of “seva” (service) guided every action.
During COVID-19, the Foundation responded with urgency and care:
- Oxygen concentrators, rations, pet food, hygiene drives
Nature called — and we listened. We expanded our focus to the environment:
- Tree plantations
- Climate resilience sessions
- Post-cyclone relief in Goa
- Small steps toward a greener path began here.
This was a turning point — sustainability became central. We connected youth, art, and activism through:
- Delhi Circular Challenge (pilot)
- Street murals on climate
- Legal literacy and health camps for young changemakers
We took our message to the masses:
- E-Waste Awareness (Delhi Pilot): 1,000+ kg e-waste collected
- Youth Eco Summit: A celebration of student-led climate action
- Metro, cinema, and digital campaigns spread our voice far and wide
- Emergency relief during Yamuna floods reminded us of our roots
- Launched the National E-Waste Awareness Campaign, engaging 632 schools and over 53,000 students, and collecting 4,950 kg of e-waste.
- Tamil Nadu led in overall impact.
July onwards:
- Introduced Schools for Sustainability (SFS)—a nationwide initiative promoting the themes of Circular Economy, Sustainability, and E-Waste, moving from awareness to action. Target: 1,130 schools, 312,000+ students, and measurable long-term impact.
- Under SFS, rolled out the Sustainability Action Network (SAN)—a collaborative platform linking students, NGOs, recyclers, RWAs, civic bodies, and many more individuals to drive city-level environmental action.
- Initiated groundwork for the Youth Eco Summit to amplify youth voices and showcase sustainability innovations.
- Youth Eco Summit 2026: A powerful showcase of student-led environmental leadership
- A reflection of the journey — from relief to resilience, and from action to advocacy
